Last updated: 24 July 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Elysium+ collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us or take part in our activities. We are committed to handling your information responsibly, transparently and in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Who We Are

Elysium+ is a non-profit youth organisation based in Ukraine, focusing on inclusion, creativity, digital empowerment and youth mobility. For GDPR purposes we act as the Data Controller โ€” responsible for deciding how your personal data is used. Legal address: Pr. Peremohy 119a, 14000 Chernihiv, Ukraine. Email: contact@elysium.ngo.

3. What Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly โ€” for example when you message us, take part in an activity, subscribe to updates or email us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, organisation or any details you choose to share. We also collect technical data automatically when you browse (IP address, device type, browser, pages visited, city/country-level location). We do not intentionally collect sensitive data unless you voluntarily provide it, for example for accessibility or inclusion support.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use personal data to reply to your messages, organise and manage projects or events, support volunteers and donors, send updates where you have consented, maintain and improve our website, and meet legal or donor reporting requirements. Our legal bases include your consent, our legitimate interests in running an NGO, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses cookies for basic functionality and to understand how visitors interact with the site. Some cookies are essential; others are used for analytics. We may use GDPR-compliant analytics tools in an anonymised or pseudonymised way. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

6. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Personal data is stored securely on EU-based servers or with providers who follow GDPR standards. We use secure connections, encryption and access restrictions. Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes in this Policy or as required by law.

7. Sharing of Data

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers (hosting, email, analytics), project partners when necessary for participation or reporting, or public authorities when legally required. All third parties must comply with GDPR.

8. Your Rights (Under GDPR)

You have the right to access your personal data, request corrections, ask for deletion, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@elysium.ngo. You may also lodge a complaint with your national Data Protection Authority.

9. International Transfers

If any data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, such transfers are protected by legally required safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or transfers to countries recognised as providing adequate data protection.

10. Links to Other Websites

Our website may link to external sites, such as partners or social media platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies before sharing any personal information.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes appear on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
